Terms and Conditions

WhatsApp Transcriptor is operated by Devlints PVT Ltd. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Devlints PVT Ltd regarding your use of the website, account features, file-processing tools, transcription features, paid exports and related services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use paid features of the service. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity results from a security failure attributable to us. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You are solely responsible for the conversations, files and other information you upload. You must ensure that your use of the service complies with applicable law and does not violate privacy, confidentiality, employment, contractual, intellectual-property or other rights.

You must have the legal right, permission or other lawful basis necessary to upload and process the material you submit. The service does not determine whether you have such rights.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Devlints PVT Ltd a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, process, convert and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide the requested export, maintain security and comply with law.

We do not claim ownership of your WhatsApp conversations, media, voice notes or other uploaded files.

Uploaded content may include information belonging to third parties. You remain responsible for determining whether processing that information through the service is lawful.

If you purchase or select a package that includes voice-note transcription, audio may be processed using automated speech-recognition or AI technology.

Automated transcription may contain omissions, incorrect words, speaker-attribution errors, punctuation errors or other inaccuracies, particularly where audio is unclear, noisy, multilingual, heavily accented, very quiet or contains overlapping speech.

You are responsible for reviewing and, where necessary, editing generated transcription before relying on it for legal, professional, evidentiary or other important purposes.

Certain packages may provide features designed to organize information for legal review, record-keeping or evidentiary workflows. These may include Bates-style numbering, file hashes, manifests, original filenames, media indexes and preservation of source materials in the final export package.

These features are organizational tools only. Devlints PVT Ltd does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that any exported file, transcript, hash, manifest or other output will be accepted as evidence by a court, regulator, employer, arbitrator or other authority.

You are responsible for obtaining professional legal advice where necessary and for complying with applicable evidentiary, discovery, preservation and filing requirements.

WhatsApp Transcriptor generally uses one-time pricing per chat or export package. The price, currency, included features and applicable limits are shown before purchase.

Payments may be processed by Paddle or another authorized payment provider. Where Paddle acts as merchant of record, your purchase may also be subject to Paddle’s checkout terms, tax handling, billing procedures and applicable consumer-protection requirements.

You authorize the payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes where required. We may change future pricing at any time, but a pricing change will not retroactively alter a completed purchase.

If a paid export fails because of a technical problem attributable to the service and we are unable to provide a reasonable remedy, you may contact support to request review of the purchase.

Because digital processing may begin immediately after purchase, refund eligibility can depend on whether processing has started, whether the final export has been delivered, applicable consumer law and the rules of the payment provider or merchant of record.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

The WhatsApp Transcriptor website, software, design, branding, processing logic, interfaces and other service materials are owned by or licensed to Devlints PVT Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service or its underlying software to you. You may use the service only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

WhatsApp and related marks belong to their respective owners. WhatsApp Transcriptor is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.

The service may depend on third-party providers for hosting, storage, payments, email delivery, analytics, security, transcription or other infrastructure. Your use of certain features may therefore involve processing by those providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we select providers to support operation of the service and handle information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.

We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service for maintenance, security, technical, legal or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Processing time may vary based on chat size, media volume, voice-note duration, system load, third-party service availability and other technical factors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.

We do not warrant that every WhatsApp export format, file, attachment or voice note will parse correctly, that transcription will be fully accurate, that generated PDFs will exactly match WhatsApp’s interface, or that any output will meet a particular legal, evidentiary, regulatory or professional requirement.

You should independently review important outputs before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Devlints PVT Ltd and its directors, employees, contractors and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill or data arising from or related to use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a particular paid transaction will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the service where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, fraud, non-payment, unlawful activity, violations of these Terms or legal requirements.

Termination does not eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability and dispute-related provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, pricing, legal requirements or business practices. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Devlints PVT Ltd, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply to you based on your place of residence.

Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. Nothing in this section removes any right you may have to bring a matter before an applicable court, regulator or consumer-protection body.
